Cake Coloring Pages

Looking for cupcakes?

Four of these pages have cupcakes in them — a giant cupcake with a cherry, a sheet of nine, a tiered cupcake tower and a patterned page for older colourists. But cupcakes have a set of their own now: twenty cupcake coloring pages, with cupcake templates to decorate, animal cupcakes and a cupcake castle.

A blank cake to decorate yourself

One page is deliberately plain: a two-tier cake with completely empty sides and top, and the decorations laid out separately below it — candles, cherries, a piping bag, flowers, sprinkles and a ribbon. Nothing is placed for you. It is the page to reach for when a child wants to design the cake rather than colour someone else's.

Cakes, slices and muffins

The set covers the whole family. Big single subjects for the youngest — one towering cupcake, one blueberry muffin, one slice of layer cake with the layers showing. Scenes for school-age children — a birthday party, a bakery counter, a mouse piping rosettes, a basket of six different muffins, a jar of cake pops. And long detailed pages for adults — a four-tier wedding cake, a five-tier cupcake tower, a cake mandala and nine cake slices each cut to show something different inside.

Pages you write on as well as colour

The birthday cakes carry a blank oval plaque, the bakery has a blank shop sign and blank price tags, the party has blank bunting, and the jars all have empty labels. The words are yours to add.

Nothing is printed in colour for you

Most cake pages arrive with the chocolate already black and the sprinkles as solid dots, which quietly settles the flavour in advance. Here every sprinkle is an outlined capsule, every icing drip is a hollow blob, every jam layer is an empty band between two sponges, and a flower centre is a ring of little outlined seeds. The only solid black anywhere in the set is the pupil of an animal's eye.

Easy through to detailed

The five easy pages have thick outlines and large open areas for a crayon. The nine middle pages will hold a school-age child for half an hour. The six detailed pages will take an adult most of an evening.

Print the whole set at once

The button at the top bundles all twenty into a single download. Every page is a vector PDF at 300 DPI in both US Letter and A4, so it stays sharp however far you zoom in.
