Privacy Policy

This page explains what Coloring Robin collects when you visit coloringrobin.com, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to describe what the site actually does rather than what a template assumes.

The short version

You can browse, print and download every coloring page here without giving us anything. There is no account, no sign-up and no paywall. We do not sell your personal information and we never have. The only visitor tracking on the site is Google Analytics, and you can block it.

What we collect

Anonymous page and download counts

We count how many times each page is viewed and each file is downloaded, so we know which pages are worth making more of. These counters are kept on our own server and record nothing about you β€” no IP address, no browser details, no identifier, no cookie. A page view is stored as a number against a page and a date, and that is all it is.

Google Analytics β€” only if you say yes

We would like to use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-BQY15H1NYM) to see how people find and move through the site. It does not run until you accept it. The first time you arrive we ask, and nothing loads until you answer: if you decline, or close the question without answering, Google Analytics is never started and none of its cookies are ever set.

If you do accept, Google sets cookies in your browser β€” typically _ga and _ga_BQY15H1NYM β€” and receives your IP address, the pages you visit, and general information about your device and browser. Google processes this data on our behalf and may store it on servers in the United States. Google's own explanation of how it handles this data is at policies.google.com.

You can change your mind at any time: .

Google Fonts

Our page headings and body text use two typefaces served by Google Fonts. Your browser fetches them from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which means Google sees your IP address when a page loads, even if you have blocked Analytics. No cookie is set by this.

Email you send us

If you write to us we keep the message so we can reply to it, and for as long as we might reasonably need to refer back to it. We do not add you to any list.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information.
  • We do not show advertising, and there is no ad network on this site.
  • We do not require an account, and there is nothing to log in to.
  • We do not ask for your name, address or payment details, anywhere.
  • We do not use your email address for anything except replying to you.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies for visitors β€” not for browsing, not for downloading, not for remembering anything. If you decline analytics, you can use this entire site without a single cookie being stored.

Accept analytics and you get the Google cookies described above, and nothing else. We record your answer in your browser's own local storage, so we do not have to ask again; that is stored on your device and never sent to us.

There is one further cookie that will never reach you: a session cookie used by the site's own administrator to log in and manage pages. It is set only in the admin area and only after a password is entered.

How to opt out

You do not have to accept any of this to use the site β€” every coloring page works identically either way, and nothing is withheld if you say no. You can:

  • Answer β€œNo thanks” when we ask, or and change your answer.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • Install Google's official Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Turn on your browser's tracking protection, or use an ad or script blocker β€” the site is built to work without JavaScript-based tracking.

Your rights

Depending on where you live β€” including under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act β€” you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to complain to your data protection regulator. Because we hold almost nothing, most requests are answered quickly. To make one, email hello@coloringrobin.com.

Children

The coloring pages here are drawn for children, but the site is meant to be used by the adults who print them, and it is not directed at children under 13 within the meaning of the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children β€” we do not ask any visitor for personal information at all. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

Who else is involved

Two companies are in the picture besides us. Our web host stores the site's files and serves them to you, which means your IP address reaches their servers as part of delivering any web page. Google receives what is described above, through Analytics and Google Fonts, and may process it in the United States and elsewhere. Nobody else receives anything, because there is nothing else to receive.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will change the date at the top of this page. We will not quietly start collecting something this page says we do not.
