Summer Coloring Pages
Twenty free summer coloring pages — a day at the beach, a sandcastle, a lemonade stand, a campsite, fireflies on a summer night, a vegetable garden, a swimming pool, a farmers market, a treehouse and a road trip, plus a sunflower field, a mandala and a zentangle page for older colourists.
One page is nine plain summer shapes to trace and cut out, and one is a blank bucket list with empty boxes and lines to fill in by hand.

Download PDF A4 PNGSummer is more than the beach
Most summer collections are beach collections with a different name on them. This one is the whole season: a tent pitched in the woods with the campfire lit, a jar of fireflies in the long grass under a crescent moon, a vegetable garden with the tomatoes staked and the beans climbing, a market stall piled with fruit, a bicycle parked by the pond, a treehouse with a rope ladder, and a car packed to the roof for a road trip. Three pages do cover the shore — a sandcastle, a beach day and a seaside boardwalk — because that is what summer means to a lot of people too.
Pages you write on as well as colour
The bucket list is deliberately empty: ten tick boxes, ten blank lines and a blank banner, so the list is yours to write. The lemonade stand has a blank sign board, the market stall has blank price tags, the garden has blank seed packets and the road trip has a blank number plate. Nothing is filled in for you.
A page a two-year-old can finish
The first page is four enormous summer shapes — a sun, an ice lolly, a beach ball and a flip-flop — with outlines twice the usual thickness, no more than three areas inside any one of them, and nothing else on the paper. The template sheet works the same way: nine bare outlines with completely empty insides, spaced so scissors fit between them.
Nothing is printed dark for you
The giveaways on summer pages are the sea and the sunglasses — the water flooded solid and the lenses blacked in, which removes two of the best things to colour. Here the sea is white with drawn waves, every lens is hollow, every tyre is an open ring, every watermelon seed is an outline and the tent glows white inside. The only solid black in the set is the pupil of an eye — and the tiny glow at the tail of each firefly.
Easy through to detailed
The easy pages have thick outlines and large open areas for a crayon. The middle pages will hold a school-age child for half an hour. The detailed pages — the sunflower field, the boardwalk, the mandala, twelve patterned icons and the doodle sheet of thirty — will take an adult most of an evening.
Print the whole set at once
The button at the top bundles all twenty into a single download. Every page is a vector PDF at 300 DPI in both US Letter and A4, so it stays sharp however far you zoom in.
Frequently asked questions
Are these summer coloring pages free?
Yes — every page is a free PDF with no signup, no email and no watermark on the artwork.
Are they all beach pages?
No. Three are — a sandcastle, a beach day and a seaside boardwalk. The rest are the wider season: camping, fireflies, a garden, a pool, a farmers market, a bicycle, a treehouse, a road trip and a sunflower field.
Is there a summer bucket list to fill in?
Yes — ten empty tick boxes, ten blank writing lines and a blank banner across the top, so the list is written by whoever colours it.
Are there summer templates to cut out?
Yes. One sheet has nine plain shapes with completely empty insides — a sun, an ice lolly, a beach ball, a flip-flop, a watermelon slice, sunglasses, a starfish, a shell and a sun hat — spaced so scissors can pass between them.
Which page suits a toddler or preschooler?
The first one. Four enormous shapes with extra-thick outlines, no more than three areas to colour in each, and nothing else on the page.
Which pages suit an adult?
The sunflower field, the seaside boardwalk, the summer mandala, the twelve patterned icons and the doodle page of thirty objects are the long ones.
Is anything printed in solid black?
Almost nothing. The sea, the sunglasses, the tyres and the tent interior are all left white and open to colour. The only solid black in the set is the pupil of an eye and the tiny glow at the tail of each firefly on the summer-night page.
Can I print these for a classroom or a summer camp?
Yes. Print as many copies as you need for a class, a camp or a party. Please do not resell the files or host them elsewhere.
