A lot of people looking for a shamrock or a pot of gold do not want a picture to colour at all — they want a plain outline to trace round or cut out for a classroom display. Three pages here are exactly that: nine shamrock templates in graded sizes, a sheet of six lucky shapes with completely blank insides, and a leprechaun hat craft sheet with dashed cut lines and separate pieces for the headband, buckle and clovers.

Clovers get half the set

A maze too

One page is a proper maze with wide passages, a leprechaun at the entrance and a pot of gold at the exit, with clovers and coins to find along the way. It can be solved first and coloured afterwards.

Nothing is printed dark for you

A pot of gold is nearly always printed as a solid black pot, which removes the largest and most satisfying shape on the page. Here it is a hollow outline with separate outlined coins inside it. The same goes for every rainbow band, ladybird spot, toadstool cap and lead line in the stained glass — the only solid black anywhere in the set is the pupil of an eye.

Easy through to detailed

The easy pages have thick outlines and large open areas for a crayon. The middle pages will hold a school-age child for half an hour. The detailed pages — the Celtic mandala, the stained glass window, the zentangle clover, twelve patterned lucky symbols and the doodle sheet — will take an adult most of an evening.
