January Coloring Pages

Two pages you write on, not just colour

The resolutions sheet has a blank banner for your own heading and six empty boxes, each with a circle to tick and a line to write on. The calendar page is a plain grid with an empty title banner and no numbers printed in it, so a child can fill in the dates for whichever January it happens to be. Both are deliberately left blank — they are worksheets as much as colouring pages.

New Year without the licensed characters

Four pages for the turn of the year: woodland animals in party hats under bunting, the wall clock at midnight in a burst of confetti, fireworks going up over a town and reflecting in the river, and the hand-lettered word JANUARY inside a wreath of fir sprigs, cones and snowflakes.

Out in the snow

A rabbit and a fox tobogganing down a hill past a snowman, three animals skating on a frozen pond, five woodland friends bundled up in scarves and bobble hats, a snowy owl on a branch, and a bear asleep underground with two cubs while a rabbit peers down the tunnel.

The far north

A mother polar bear and her cub on an ice floe, an igloo built from two dozen separate snow blocks with a seal and a walrus outside, and the northern lights drawn as long open ribbons curling above a range of faceted icebergs — with the sky left white, so the aurora is yours to colour rather than printed dark.

Easy through to detailed

The first six pages are big and simple — the lettering, the party animals, the snow globe, the calendar, a hat and scarf set. The middle nine are full scenes for a school-age child. The last five are for older colourists: the snowflake mandala, a sheet of twenty patterned snowflakes and stars, the frosted window, the northern lights and the hand lettering.

Printing

Print at 100% scale rather than “fit to page”, and match the file to your paper — Letter or A4. The button at the top bundles all twenty into a single download.
