Several of these work better folded than framed. Print the big heart or the love birds on cardstock, colour it, then fold it in half and it is a card no shop sells. A child who has coloured the card themselves will hand it over far more happily than one they picked off a shelf.
For a classroom party
The mailbox page is the useful one: print it once per child, let them colour it, and it becomes the envelope holder for a class card exchange. The cupcake and teddy pages are quick enough to finish inside a single lesson.
Colouring hearts without flattening them
A heart coloured in one flat red reads as a shape. Leave a small unpainted highlight near the upper-left curve and deepen the colour along the lower-right edge and it suddenly reads as an object. That one trick works on every heart on this page.
Printing
Print at 100% scale rather than “fit to page”. Choose Letter in the US and Canada, A4 elsewhere. Use 120gsm cardstock if you are making cards or using markers.
