Tiger Coloring Pages
Twenty free tiger coloring pages — a big tiger walking through the grass, a cub playing with a ball of wool, a white tiger in the snow, a sabertooth, a tiger swimming, a tiger mask to cut out and wear, and a bamboo grove, all drawn as clean black-and-white line art.
Sorted easy first and detailed last, so the same set works for a four-year-old and an adult. Every page prints as a PDF in both US Letter and A4.

Download PDF A4 PNGThe stripes are lines, not black bands
Nearly every tiger drawing fills the stripes in solid black. It looks right on a poster and it is hopeless on a colouring page — half the animal is already coloured, and the half that is left is a set of awkward white gaps. On all twenty pages here the markings are drawn as single thin lines with white paper on both sides of every one, so the whole tiger is yours: orange, white, blue, or striped in whatever colours you like.
The same goes for the parts that usually go dark without anyone deciding to. The noses are hollow outlines rather than black triangles, the inside of every ear is blank, no tail ends in a black tip, and the paws have toe lines instead of solid pads.
More than one kind of tiger
There is a white tiger walking through fresh snow under pine branches, a sabertooth on a rocky outcrop with its two long curved teeth showing, and a tiger wading chest-deep through a river — tigers are strong swimmers and genuinely like water, which surprises most people.
Cubs
A cub sitting up patting at a ball of wool, two cubs play-fighting in the grass, and a mother washing her cub while it dozes against her chest. There is also a tiger curled up fast asleep on a bed of leaves, with three little spirals above its head instead of the usual letters.
A mask you can wear
One page is a tiger face mask with a dashed line to cut along, two eye holes and a small hole at each side for string or elastic. Colour it first, then cut it out — it works best printed on thicker paper or card.
Which page to start with
The simple tiger is the easiest page here — big rounded shapes, very thick outlines and only a few hairline markings to work around. The mandala, the patterned tiger and the realistic portrait are the slow ones and work better with fineliners than pencils.
Printing
Print at 100% scale rather than “fit to page”, and match the file to your paper — Letter or A4. The button at the top bundles all twenty into a single download.
Frequently asked questions
Are these tiger coloring pages free?
Yes — all twenty download as free PDFs with no account, no email and no watermark on the artwork.
Are the stripes already filled in black?
No, and that is the point of this set. Every marking is drawn as a thin line with white paper on both sides of it, so nothing on the animal arrives already coloured.
Which page suits a preschooler?
The simple tiger, second in the set — big rounded shapes with very thick outlines and nothing small to stay inside. The tiger cub and the big tiger face are the next easiest.
Is there a white tiger?
Yes — a white tiger walking through fresh snow in a pine forest, with snowflakes drawn as large hollow outlines so they can be coloured too.
Is there a sabertooth tiger?
Yes, standing on a rocky outcrop with its two long curved sabre teeth clearly showing, with prehistoric ferns and a distant volcano behind it.
Do tigers really swim?
They do — unlike most cats they seek out water and swim well. One page shows a tiger wading chest-deep through a river with lily pads and reeds around it.
Can the mask actually be worn?
Yes — it has a dashed cutting line all round, two eye holes and a small hole at each side for string. Print it on card or thick paper if you can.
Which pages suit an adult?
The tiger mandala, the patterned zentangle tiger, the realistic portrait and the bamboo grove have the finest detail.
Can I print these for a classroom?
Yes. Classroom use is fine and you can print as many copies as you need. Please do not resell them.
What paper size are the files?
Every page comes in both US Letter and A4, so it prints properly on either.
